Little Farmer’s Summer Classes
We invite your family to spend the summer at Great Country Farms by enrolling your child in a Little Farmers Summer Class. During this weekly experience, the little farmers will learn the importance, fun, and discovery of farming and exploring the outdoors. Your child will become empowered and educated with age appropriate stories, lessons and activities surrounding daily farm tasks, the importance of food and how it is grown, animals and their needs, along with several other topics. Please note classes will be primarily outdoors in different weather and we will be getting in the dirt and learning while we play! We hope you will join us for this unique and individualized experience!

Seasonal Harvest
Explore the GCF gardens & Orchards. Kids will learn how to grow healthy foods.
Plants & Dirt
What they need and how to grow them. Take home your plant from the green house to grow at home.
Play Area & Barnyard
The 5 acre play area and animal barnyard offers the perfect play let out some extra energy. Classes include admission to Great Country Farms!
Additional Information:
Adult participation is required for the entire class.
Location: Great Country Farms in Bluemont, VA
Clothing: Children should dress to be outside according to the weather. (No open-toed shoes are allowed.)
